CMC for Paper Making

CMC is a highly efficient paper additive, and is mainly used in the making of coated paper coatings in the paper industry. It can be used as an additive with a damp cloth and surface sizing agents and has good water retention, dispersion and excellent shear thinning performance.

1. Application of CMC in coated paper:

* Control and adjust the rheology of the coating and the dispersibility of the pigment, improve the solid content of the coating

* Has good film forming properties and improves the gloss of the coating.

2. Application of CMC as a wet end additive:

* Improve the refining efficiency, promote fiber refinement, and shorten the beating time.

* Improve the retention of various additives, fillers and fine fibers.

3. Application of CMC in surface sizing:

* Has good rheology and film formation, increasing paper stiffness and smoothness.

* Greatly improve the pulling speed of paper products and improve the ink absorption performance of paper.
