CMC for Textile & Dyeing

1. CMC has stable characteristics and good film-forming properties, it has a high affinity and makes the film have a high strength with the same as cellulose yarn, so that it can reduce the phenomenon of "jump yarn" in high speed spinning machine. The serous which formed by CMC is water-soluble and has biodegradable characteristics. As the fabric finishing agents, it can replace the traditional starch slurry and greatly reduce the environmental pollution of re-sizing and desizing in fabrics.

2. CMC mainly takes effects of thickeners, emulsifiers and suspending agents. Printing and dyeing CMC is not easy to react with reactive dyes. CMC has the advantages of high yield of forming thickening agent and good stock stability. It has high structural viscosity and good water holding. It can be used on rotary screen, flat screen and hand printing. Refined CMC has high solution of water-soluble and few gels with excellent high transparency, permeability and filtration. The stable viscosity can enhance the ability of retting and dye penetration, thus improving the clarity of printing and color solid focus. It is more suitable for fine pattern printing of hydrophilic fiber textiles than sodium alginate as it’s good rheology. But the actual printing effect can rival the sodium alginate. It can replace sodium alginate or mixed with the sodiulm alginate to be used in the printing paste, which can also bring good economic benefits.
